and in the streets of Kassel. (See SCHEDULE below)
All welcome. Participation is free.
WHAT IS FRAMETALKS?
FRAMETALKS is a 7-day long, participatory social sculpture arena for working individually and together, reimagining and rethinking how we live in the world, and for making ‘social honey’!
IN FRAMETALKS WE EXPLORE 5 REALITIES
- in ourselves, together and in the world -
through a deerskin frame on wheels.
NATURE [Mon 27/8] HUMAN BEING [Tue 28/8] LOVE [Wed 29/8] FREEDOM [Thu 30/8] FUTURE [Fri 31/8]
PARTICIPATE IN 4 LANGUAGES
There is a small booklet for gathering your own reflections and explaining a bit about the FRAMETALKS process. It is in 4 languages: German, English, Arabic and Turkish.
REFLECTING TOGETHER
The fruits of these daily processes will be shared in collective processes at the end of each day, and then again in 2-days of reflection at the end of the week.
To participate in the reflections at the end of the week, you need to participate in one of the first five days, for a few hours at least.
MUSEUMSNACHT KASSEL
This is an open session that requires no prior participation. It begins at 1700 and ends after midnight at 01.00 on Sunday 2. If you are only able to participate on the weekend, then you could join us in this 'Museumsnacht open session'.

WHAT KIND OF TIME COMMITMENT IS NECESSARY?
Some people are taking time off work to participate in the whole 7-day long process.
It is a bit like a 'pilgrimage' that focuses both inwards and outwards: Inward at how we think about these realities and outwards at the world: to experience how our thinking needs to change to enable us to shape an eco-social future!
COLLABORATION
FRAMETALKS is a social sculpture – connective practice action developed and facilitated by Shelley Sacks. She is joined by members of the UOT Microlab for Social Sculpture, Kassel, Wolfgang Zumdick, and many people in Kassel. This version of FRAMETALKS is a collaboration with the Neue Brüderkirche, Kassel, the UOT Microlab für Soziale Plastik, Kassel; and the University of the Trees: LAB for New Knowledge and an Eco-Social Future.
