About EARTH FORUM

• EARTH FORUM is a unique 'connective practice' that enables an experience of the link between inner work and outer action

• It creates a space for uncovering and developing both individual and organisational ‘agendas for transformation’

• It enhances participant's capacities as ‘agents of personal, social and system change’, enabling a deepening of ones contribution towards shaping an ecological and humane future

• It introduces and practices a form of 'imaginal thinking', which enables new ways of 'thinking together’

• It is a practice that can be scaled out to many people, by everyone who does the EARTH FORUM training

• It can be applied in diverse situations and fields of work, especially those where insight, creative reflection and new vision are important

• It creates an inspiring arena for intercultural, interfaith and intergenerational exchange by enabling explorations of difference without conflict

• Participating in an EARTH FORUM is a good antidote to negative information-overload because it mobilises one internally and illuminates potential for connective action

• EARTH FORUM connects freedom and responsibility, the individual and the collective and the personal and the political

• EARTH FORUM enables an experience of the field of transformation!

• EARTH FORUM is a practice about freedom and an expanded understanding of ‘art’. It enables a lived experience of the ‘art of changing one’s mindset’ and ‘paradigm shift in practice’!

• People who do the EARTH FORUM training will be supported to use it as an ongoing practice in their personal and/or organizational sphere.

EARTH FORUM is one of the UOT LAB’s much loved and tested practices! It was developed in 2011 for use in processes linked to the Climate Summit in South Africa and for citizens’ actions in Germany. Since then it has been used in many countries and contexts, including in Hong Kong with young change-makers; in Holland, UK and Germany with many organizations as well as individuals; and, most recently, with a network of ecological and social justice activists and cultural workers in the north-east region of India. Over 100 people have been trained as EARTH FORUM ‘Responsible Participants’ who can facilitate and adapt the EARTH FORUM process in their own context.

COSTS for the training are on a sliding scale from €250-500 Additional contributions will be gratefully received from those who can afford it. They will enable us to give a few scholarships to those who require concessions.

This is a not-for-profit training. We have costs to cover to run the Earth Forum and for the UOT Lab. The training price does not include:

1. The EARTH FORUM kit (an Earth Forum cloth, UOT Lab band and Training Handbook) needed to run your own Earth Forum processes that will be available at the end of the training. The €50 fee for this kit is the minimum not-for-profit price.

2. Accommodation in Kassel and food.

Basic refreshments (tea/coffee/biscuits) will be provided.

EINLADUNG ZUM ERDFORUM -Training – 2019

Das nächste ERDFORUM-Training findet statt in Kassel von 19. – 22. September 2019.

Dies ist eine Möglichkeit, das “ERDFORUM Soziale Skulptur – Verbindende Praxis” zu erfahren, und dann zu lernen, wie man ein ERDFORUM leitet und Teil der wachsenden Gemeinschaft der “Verantwortlichen Teilnehmenden” von ERDFOREN zu werden.

Das Training findet in Deutsch und Englisch statt.

ÜBER DAS ERDFORUM

• Das ERDFORUM ist eine einzigartige „Verbindende Praxis“, die es ermöglicht, die Verbindung zwischen innerer Arbeit und äußerer Handlung zu erfahren.

• Es schafft einen Raum für die Entdeckung und Entwicklung sowohl individueller, als auch organisationaler „Agenden für den Wandel“

• Es stärkt die Fähigkeit der Teilnehmenden als „Agenten des persönlichen, sozialen und systemischen Wandels“,und bereichert dadurch den eigenen Beitrag zur Gestaltung einer ökologischen und menschlichen Zukunft.

• Mit dem ERDFORUM wird eine neue Form des „bildhaften Denkens“ eingeführt und praktiziert, die neue Wege des „gemeinsamen Denkens“ ermöglicht

• Es ist eine Praxis, mit der jeder, der das ERDFORUM-Training mitgemacht hat, viele Menschen erreichen kann

• Es kann in verschiedenen Situationen und Arbeitsfeldern angewendet werden, besonders in solchen, wo Einsicht, kreative Reflexion und neue Visionen wichtig sind

• Es schafft eine inspirierende Arena für interkulturellen, interreligiösen und generationenübergreifenden Austausch, indem es die konfliktfreie Erkundung von Unterschieden ermöglicht

• Die Teilnahme an einem ERDFORUM ist ein gutes Gegenmittel gegen negative Informationsüberflutung, weil es im Innenfeld mobilisiert und das Potenzial für verbindende Handlung erkennbar werden lässt

• Das ERDFORUM verbindet Freiheit und Verantwortung, das Individuum und die Gesellschaft, sowie das Persönliche und das Politische

• Das ERDFORUM ermöglicht, das Feld der Transformation zu erleben

• Das ERDFORUM ist ebenso eine Freiheitspraxis wie Praxis eines erweiterten Kunstverständnisses. Es ermöglicht die gelebte Erfahrung der „Kunst, die eigene Denkweise zu ändern“ und des „Paradigmenwechsels durch Praxis“

• Teilnehmende des ERDFORUM-Trainings werden dabei unterstützt, für die weitere Praxis in ihrem persönlichen und/oder organisatorischen Bereich zu nutzen.

Das ERDFORUM ist eine der beliebtesten und meist erprobten Praxen des UOT LABs! Es wurde 2011 als Prozess im Zusammenhang mit dem Klimagipfel in Südafrika und Bürgerbewegungen in Deutschland entwickelt. Seitdem wurde es in zahlreichen Ländern und Zusammenhängen eingesetzt, unter anderem mit jungen ,change-makers’ in Hong Kong, mit vielen Organisationen und Einzelpersonen in Holland, Großbritannien und Deutschland und kürzlich mit einem Netzwerk von Aktivisten und Kulturschaffenden für ökologische und soziale Gerechtigkeit im Nordosten Indiens. Über 100 Personen wurden bereits als “Verantwortliche Teilnehmende” für ERDFOREN trainiert und können den ERDFORUM-Prozess durchführen und an ihren eigenen Kontext anpassen.

Die KOSTEN für das Training bewegen sich auf einer gleitenden Skala.

Teilnahmebeitrag: 250-500€. Das Training ist nicht gewinnorientiert.

Eine begrenzte Anzahl von bezuschussten Plätzen ist verfügbar.

Zusätzliche Beiträge von denen, die es sich leisten können, werden dankbar entgegengenommen.

Diese Beiträge beinhalten nicht:
1. Das Erdforum-Kit (ein Erdforum-Tuch, ein UOT Lab Band und ein Trainingshandbuch), welches für die Durchführung von Erdforum-Prozessen benötigt wird und am Ende des Trainings erhältlich ist. 50 € ist die Minimalgebühr für dieses Packet.
2. Unterkunft und Verpflegung in Kassel

Einfache Pausensnacks (Tee, Kaffee, Kekse) werden angeboten.

Wir freuen uns, von Dir zu hören und hoffen, dass Du beim UOT:LAB Training in Kassel dabei bist.

Die Teilnahmeplätze sind begrenzt. Trotzdem bitten wir Dich, dies an andere, die eventuell Interessse an einer Teilnahme am diesjährigen ERDFORUM-Training haben könnten, weiterzuleiten.
